The hospital officially opened on Thursday, December 18, with the city mayor attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony and observing the MCBS pneumatic tube system (PTS) in operation across the facility.

The hospital is one of Moscow’s largest medical institutions, serving over 86,000 inpatients annually across departments including surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, and neurology. To improve operational efficiency, administrators integrated the PTS during construction.
The PTS is designed for time-sensitive, small-volume items such as blood samples, medications, and documents. By automating these internal deliveries, the system reduces manual handling and allows clinical staff to focus on patient care.
MCBS engineers also conducted operation and maintenance training for the hospital team, ensuring the system could be used efficiently from day one. This training underscores MCBS’s commitment to providing not only advanced logistics technology but also reliable, end-to-end support for hospital operations.

The successful implementation of the PTS demonstrates its impact on streamlining hospital logistics. Beyond PTS, MCBS offers a full suite of solutions to support hospitals of all sizes, from urgent, small-volume deliveries to large-scale transport needs.
As hospitals face increasing patient volumes and more complex operational demands, MCBS continues to deliver solutions that maintain smooth, reliable internal logistics, helping healthcare facilities operate efficiently and provide high-quality patient care.
